Moon Pigeon is a graphic design studio with a passion for brand identity, visual communications, & pattern design.
Hello there!
I’m Emily Hamm, owner of Moon Pigeon. As a graphic designer I specialize in helping clients develop their brands, products, and ideas. Whether it’s a logo or a necktie, I think strategically and deliver quality work.
My design roots started with many years at a big retail in-house design department where I designed everything from fabric & packaging to logos & advertising. In 2016 I went out on my own ready for something new. Out of that Moon Pigeon was formed.

What’s the typical process for working with me?
Project-Based Work
Getting started is easy! Just reach out via email and tell me a little about your project and design needs. If you'd like, we can schedule a call to discuss your goals, ideas, and timeline.
From there, I'll put together a proposal outlining the project and estimated costs. If everything looks good and we're ready to move forward, I'll send over contract details and a link for your deposit to get things started.
Once the project is underway, I'll work on the designs and send you a first proof for review. We'll go back and forth as needed, making revisions and fine-tuning the details until everything feels just right.
When the final design is approved, I'll send an invoice for the remaining balance. After payment, I'll deliver your final files to your designated digital file space. From there, you're ready to work with your local print shop or vendor to bring the project to life!
Ongoing Design Work
If we're working together on a regular basis, I typically switch to a monthly billing or retainer arrangement. This makes it easy to have ongoing design support without starting from scratch with a new proposal for every project.
